Nature Photography Tuition Courses in Rural Derbyshire
Based in rural Derbyshire, on the fringes of the Peak District, Norbury Manor Photography offers guidance and tuition courses in nature photography to beginner and intermediate photographers. With access to purpose built hides, woodland and a healthy stretch of river, we provide a rich opportunity to photograph a variety of popular British species.
Tuition Courses
Our tuition courses aim to equip you with both theoretical understanding and the pratical skills necessary in photography allowing you to become confident using and experimenting with your camera. We will also share advice on approaching subjects and opening up creative avenues to reveal new ways of photographing your subjects. Our courses cover more than one genre but are slanted towards the outdoors, nature and landscape photography
Visit our tuition course page to find details on how to book a place on one of our courses.
Charity Prints
Our guests help us support local charities. After a course they will have the option to donate an image, which will then be made available to buy as a print, the profits of which will be donated to a local charity.
Working with the National Trust
The Old Manor at Norbury is a beautiful medieval hall surrounded by picturesque gardens owned by the National Trust. The historic house features 17th century Flemish glass windows and gardens. By installing nestboxes and a feeding stations throughout the grounds, Norbury Manor Photography is helping to encourage local species to use the surrounding habitat. We have also created some information boards so you can learn more about the wildlife around the property.
Visit the National Trust's website for more information on visiting the Old Manor in Derbyshire.
